Corey joined Cairnview Mechanical Ltd. in April 2009, and is an experienced and highly skilled office manager. Corey has expertise in managing a variety of senior administrative responsibilities, including plumbing and HVAC related business functions in dispatch, job cost control, purchasing, estimating, billings and accounts payable and receivable.

Corey’s previous employment included responsibility for the scheduling and administration of contracts, and initiating service orders and dispatch work for employees at Accutemp refrigeration and air-conditioning as well as estimating, purchasing, shipping and receiving.

Mel joined Cairnview Mechanical in the fall of 2011, and brings with her a tremendous amount of experience having worked with Accutemp Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Johnson Controls in a variety of roles including general reception, dispatch, maintenance contract sales and administration, service and maintenance billing and payroll entry.

Mel was born and raised in Victoria and has completed a number of administrative, accounting, payroll and business related courses through Sprott Shaw College, Thompson River University and other learning institutions.

Mel likes to support local charities and believes in local business doing work with other local business to promote the community we live in. Mel enjoys a variety of sports, including having played ice hockey for the last twenty years and is sought after for her knowledge of hockey statistics and her participation in hockey pools.

Qualifications: Jason is a skilled journeyman plumber and
gas “B” technician and comes to us after having working
in Alberta for a number of years and most recently, having
had his own plumbing business, Good Grade Plumbing and
Gas, in Victoria. Jason has worked in a variety of different
areas in the plumbing and gas fitting trade, including
set up camps, and working in commercial and industrial
construction and maintenance, as well as many years in the
new home construction sector.
What I do when I am not working: I love spending
time with my wife and brand new baby boy, renovating my
home and fishing when I can.

What I do when I am not working: hanging out with my wife and going for drives around town. I like to watch movies in my spare time to relax.

Qualifications: plumbing and gas “B” red seal with the electrical endorsement. In process of challenging steam pipefitting ticket.
What I do when I am not working: My first love is riding my motorcycle. I also love running my dogs, camping, boating and fishing. I like to stay active as much as time will allow.
